The Tech–Know Club is the departmental club of the B.Sc. Information Technology programme established with the objective of promoting technical excellence, innovation, leadership, and holistic development among students. The club serves as a dynamic platform where students enhance their technical competencies, organizational abilities, creativity, and interpersonal skills beyond regular academic learning.

Objectives of the Club:

  • To enhance students technical knowledge beyond the classroom learning
  • To encourage innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills
  • To develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • To provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents and technical abilities
  • To foster collaborative learning and peer interaction
  • To support overall personality development and professional growth

Annual Intercollegiate Event – Nova-Tech:

The club organizes Nova-Tech, an annual intercollegiate technical event which provides a platform for students to showcase their talents through competitions such as debugging, logo designing and various innovative technical events.

Students actively participate in planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing the event, which enhances their leadership, teamwork, and event management skills.

Student Engagement Activities:

To strengthen departmental bonding and ensure holistic development, the club also conducts student engagement programmes such as:

  • Freshers’ Welcome Programme for newly admitted students
  • Farewell Programme for graduating students

These initiatives help create a positive learning culture and promote senior–junior interaction within the department.
