The Women Development Cell of the college, in collaboration with Gyanaashi Foundation, successfully organized a Career and Financial Awareness Session for girl students on 1st January 2026. The primary objective of the session was to educate and sensitize students about the importance of financial literacy among women and to encourage early financial planning.
The session was conducted by the esteemed resource person, Dr. Manya Hardwani. The program commenced with a formal introduction of the speaker by Mrs. Babita Nagdev, who highlighted the relevance of financial awareness in today’s changing socio-economic environment.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and raising thoughtful questions. Dr. Hardwani addressed all queries with clarity and depth, making the discussion engaging and informative.
A total of 102 girl students attended the session and benefited from the insights shared. The program successfully created awareness about responsible financial planning and motivated students to take informed financial decisions.
Overall, the session proved to be a valuable initiative towards fostering a generation of financially informed, confident, and independent women.

On 24th July 2025, the Women Development Cell conducted a session on the POSH Act 2013—Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal)—at 10:00 AM in the college auditorium.

A total of 194 students participated, out of which 112 were girls and 82 were boys engaging actively in the discussion and gaining valuable knowledge to help foster a safer campus culture.

A Health Awareness Session for Female Students was organised by Women Development Cell in association with Myna Mahila Foundation on Thursday, 7th August 2025 at 10.30 am in the auditorium. Resource person for the session was Mrs. Pratibha Bhurki of Myna Mahila Foundation on Female students of SY and TY BCOM and SY IT participated in the event.
Purpose of the session was to inform the students regarding the basic problems of reproductive health for females, and how they can communicate the same to get better awareness. Madam informed the students regarding the MYNA BOLO app, which can be installed on the phone and used to get any information related to women health. She also informed that doctor services can be availed through the app.
Outcome: 93 female beneficiaries attended the event. The students installed the app on their phones and were able to communicate through the BOT. Beneficiaries also received sanitary napkins from the foundation.

The Women Development Cell of the college, in collaboration with Dombivli Mahila Mahasangh, organized an awareness session on "Protection of Women Under Domestic Violence Act, 2005” on 11th August, 2025. The session aimed to educate students about the concept of domestic violence and the legal provisions available for its prevention and redressal.
The guest speaker for the session was Mrs. Jayshree Karve the President of Dombivli Mahila Mahasangh.
The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating and posing questions. Speaker addressed their queries with clarity and depth, making the session both informative and engaging.

The session successfully raised awareness about domestic violence and empowered students with knowledge of legal remedies and support systems. It was a valuable initiative toward fostering a more informed and sensitive student community.

The Women Development Cell of the college organized a Mehndi Competition on 3rd September, 2025 at 11.00 am.
The main purpose of the competition was to provide students with a platform to showcase their artistic and creative talents, foster a connection to cultural heritage, and engage in a fun activity that enhances personality development and campus involvement. Students enthusiastically participated and displayed beautiful mehndi designs based on different themes. Mehndi, being an integral part of Indian culture, not only adds beauty but also reflects traditional sentiments, beliefs, and the medicinal value of herbs.

Name of the Event: Video Screening on Human Rights Day

The Women Development Cell of the college organized a video screening on the topic "Human Rights” on 10th December 2025 at 8.00 a.m. The programme was conducted for students of all streams in their respective classrooms. The event was organized in observance of International Human Rights Day, which is celebrated annually on 10th December to promote awareness of fundamental human rights and freedoms.
The primary objective of the video screening was to sensitize students about the concept of human rights, their importance in everyday life, and the role of laws in safeguarding dignity, equality, and justice. The videos highlighted key human rights such as the right to life, liberty, equality, education, freedom of expression, and protection against discrimination and violence. Special emphasis was given to the rights of women, children, and marginalized communities.
