Alumni Committee along with Placement Cell of the college has initiated enrollment of the students for Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan Examination and certification.
This Scheme has been initiated by the Government with the vision to empower at least one person per household with crucial digital literacy skills by 2020. This is expected to touch the lives of more than 250 million individuals over the next few years. PMGDISHA is an effort to complement government’s vision to transform one from each household as digitally literate. The project aims at helping adults with low technological literacy develop the skills they need to interact in an increasingly digital world.
Mr. Tanmay Chavan- BCOM alumni has conducted the registration and Examination process from 20th June 2022 to 1st August, 2022 in the college premises.

Alumni of BMS department Ms. Grishma Poyrekar, was invited to orient FYBMS students about the BMS Programme on 1st August, 2022.
Grishma has talked about the following important points.
She highlighted the importance of academics and the overall grade for venturing into higher education as well as job.
She explained the importance of participation in various college committees and how they help to mould once personality.
She stressed on enrolment for short term and certification courses offered by the college.
Total 119 students attended the orientation in which 53 were male and 66 were female students.
Alumni of BCOM department Ms. Ragini Iyer was invited to orient FYBCOM students about the BCOM Programme. Ragini has talked about the following important points.
She highlighted the importance of academics and the overall grade for venturing into higher education as well as job.
She explained the importance of participation in various college committees and how they help to mold once personality.
She stressed on enrollment for short term and certification courses offered by the college.
She focused on the importance of Microsoft office, specially Microsoft Excel for better job opportunities.
Total 187 students attended the orientation in which 86 were male and 101 were female students. Mrs. Salochna Nagdev was the in-charge the activity.
An Alumni guidance session on career prospects after BMS was conducted for FY, SY and TY BMS Students on 20th August, 2022. Mr. Bhagyesh Joshi and Ms. Isha Parik, BMS alumni were the resource persons for the session. The session covered how to stay focused towards the goals and what are the skill development courses students are expected to undertake during 3 years to become employable was covered.
Total 220 students attended the orientation in which 100 were male and 120 were female students.
South Indian Association Student's Alumni Foundation has conducted first official Alumni meet on 15th April, 2023 at 4.00 pm. Principal Dr. Padmaja Arvind addressed the alumni students and motivated them to actively participate in the college development activities.
Following points were discussed in the meeting.
Mr. Pradeep Ganeshan, President of Student’s Alumni Foundation briefed about the registered Alumni Foundation and motivated the alumni to be active member of the alumni foundation by contributing some nominal amount as registration fees and the same will be used for the future activities of alumni foundation.
It was decided to organise some academic sessions in the year 2023-24 by the college alumni.
Fun activities were also organised for the alumni.
